Biography

BOMBUS first saw the light of day 2008 in Gothenburg, Sweden. Heavily influenced by the greats of Motörhead, The Melvins, Metallica and Poison Idea the band started to play live shows around Sweden. After releasing three 7” vinyl singles and their praised self-titled debut album in 2010 the band was signed to Century Media.

In 2013 the band released the album the Poet and the Parrot that was in 2016 followed by Repeat Until Death and in 2019 a lethal dose of heavy rock saw the light with BOMBUS fourth album Vulture Culture. The band has since the release of that first album continued to evolve their own unique sound and through touring earning themselves a steady live reputation. (opened up for Black Sabbath, Gojira, Baroness and extensive tours with Danko Jones, Graveyard and Monster Magnet)

The last sign of new recorded stuff from the band was the two steady and heavy rockers Abomination Rock ‘n’ Roll and So Dumb that was released as singles in the summer of 2021. Two tracks that presented a BOMBUS once again showing off their anthemic qualities when writing catchy yet heavy rock. If those two tracks are a hint on what’s to come on the musical side of things then there is indeed a bright musical future ahead for the fans of BOMBUS
