Biography

Bombus is a Swedish metal band that was formed in Gothenburg in 2008. Known for their high-energy performances and heavy sound, Bombus has become a prominent name in the Scandinavian metal scene.

The band consists of: Feffe and Meiton on vocals and guitars, Simon on guitar, Ola Henriksson on bass, and Peter Asp on drums.

Bombus released their self-titled debut album in 2010, which received critical acclaim and established them as a force to be reckoned with. The album showcased their ability to seamlessly blend elements of punk, metal, and classic rock, resulting in a sound that is both familiar and fresh.

Following the success of their debut, Bombus went on to release several more albums, including “The Poet and the Parrot” in 2013, “Repeat Until Death” in 2016, “Vulture Culture” in 2019 and Your Blood in 2024. These albums further solidified their reputation as a band that pushes boundaries and refuses to be confined to one genre.

One of the defining characteristics of Bombus is their electrifying live performances. The band’s energy on stage is infectious, and they have gained a loyal fanbase that eagerly anticipates their shows. Whether it’s a small club or a large festival stage, Bombus always delivers a memorable and intense performance.

In addition to their own headlining shows, Bombus has also had the opportunity to tour with renowned bands such as Clutch, Danko Jones, Graveyard and Monster Magnet. These experiences have allowed them to reach a wider audience and gain recognition outside of their native Sweden.
